About Capt Billy Bullard
Captain Billy Bullard was born in Key West and has
lived here all of his life. He left school early and went into the
family shrimping business. Shrimping was hard work and you have to
stay up all night pulling the nets in. Romance motivated Captain
Billy to move to Tampa for a short time and he got a job driving
a cement truck. It didn’t take long for Billy to return to
Key West and get back on a boat. He has fished with nets for King
Mackerel, he has run fish traps, longlines, and handlines and finally
worked as a mate on a lobster fishing boat for 15 years. As lobster
fishing got tougher and his back got weaker Captain Billy was urged
to try charter boat fishing. After running overnight fishing trips
as a fill in guy for a few years Billy finally left lobster fishing
for good and took over his own charter boat and now charters full
time for Andy Griffiths Charters.
Testimonials
Hey Andy, how are you? My name is Ray Austin. I went
on a trip with you in March of 05 and I wanted to first let you know
how much we enjoyed ourselves. Additionally I wanted to make a request
if possible for 3 boats in March of 06. Everyone that I know wants
to go this year. IM really sorry for the large request but IM hoping
that it is early enough to reserve the boats. Please advise me ASAP
on the capabilities and possibilities. Thanx Ray.
Capt. Andy
We just finished a trip with Capt. Billy and I wanted to drop you
a line and let you know that we enjoyed it very much. I know Capt.
Billy deals with all kinds of people and many are not hard core fisherman
like us but he really went the extra mile for us by staying up late,
working the numbers hard, and letting us do some deep drops. The
fishing could have been better but he certainly did his part. We
may try an April or May trip next year. I will recommend you to other
people in my area and maybe they will pay you a visit as well.

Andy,
I just wanted to write and thank you and Captain Billy one more time.
We had an amazing trip and we certainly look forward to doing it
again when the opportunity arises. Billy did an awesome job with
the boat and even better teaching me and my son a bunch about salt
water fishing. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate a little better
next time and we can get out to the Tortugas. See you next time!

Good Afternoon,
Just want to thank and commend Capt. Bill Bullard for his time this
past weekend on our fishing trip to the Tortugas. I was part of the
party from Carlos Orsini & Alan which departed Thursday 6/21.
We all enjoyed our time aboard with Capt. Bill and definitely look
forward to booking soon a few trips earlier in the year next year
and having Capt Bill be our guide. He looked after us and made sure
we all were having a good time.
Everything from the boat, to the fishing, and the captain was excellent
and we could not ask for anything more.
Again, please pass my thanks on to Capt. Bill, and it won't be long
before we are back on your boats fishing.
Thanks,
Oscar Jr.
I have to let you know that we had a great time on
the boat, Allison Jane, with Captain Billy. He was an awesome Captain
who took total care of us and put us on the fish. JD in the top picture
, sure loved taking the money from Allen Hall when he won the pool
of $2700 for that 24 lb Bull Dolphin he caught just about 2 hours
after leaving the dock on Friday morning. This is JD`S first dolphin
he has ever caught. If you remember last year, Allen Hall won with
a big kingfish. His picture is on your website from last year. Thanks
again Capt. Billy for a great time. Look forward to seeing you again
next year.
Thank You,
Capt. Jim Patrick
Thanks Andy we had a great time. Captain Billy shined
and put us on the fish.
We will be putting together another trip in the future.
